One question that’s frequently asked is, where do I launch my boat when you’ve decided to hunt for these molecules without a guide. So, here is a list of all of the boat ramps you can use to get to the scalloping patch you’ve decided on!
Here are some of the most popular locations to catch scallops, and of course, everyone has their own favorite spots!

Boat Launches At Cape San Blas 

Highland View Boat Ramp

Frank Pate City Park Boat Ramp (Port St Joe City Boat Ramp)

Boat Ramp: Two wide concrete boat ramps with boarding docks. Parking for 15-20 vehicles with trailers.

Presnell Boat Ramp

Concrete single lane boat ramp just off St Joe Bay. Located in the Presnell RV Resort. Parking is available in the park.

St Joseph Penisula State Park Boat Ramp

  • Fee: $ 6.00 park entry fee $ 6.00 boat launch fee

Wide single lane concrete boat ramp on St Joe bay, within the St Joseph Penisula State Park. No designated boat trailer parking, but parking for 25+ vehicles with trailers are available.
