Once a British tradition, afternoon tea has become a trend worldwide. As a result, there was a long gap between lunch and dinner.

If there was one reason alone to visit Bettys, it was for the afternoon tea! Afternoon tea typically includes sandwiches with the crust cut off and cut into diamond shapes, scones with clotted cream and jam, sweet pastries, and cakes. It’s served on a fancy layered cake tray. Be prepared to splurge; afternoon tea starts at £39.95 per person.
