There are two public boat launches on Crescent Lake in town, as well as one on Lake Stella. Boating and excellent fishing are major draws to the area.

Crescent Lake

Crescent Lake is the center of local recreation and is ideal for boating, fishing, and paddling. Small powerboats and kayaks can be launched from public ramps; it is advisable to bring life jackets and to check local launch fees and hours. Anglers primarily target largemouth bass and bluegill, so it is essential to bring tackle suitable for freshwater species and obtain a Florida fishing license if required.

Lake Stella Park

Lake Stella Park (364 Grand Rondo East) offers a gazebo, restrooms, and a sandy beach area for swimming and launching non-motorized craft. While the Landing has private docks, a public concrete Lake Stella Boat Ramp is located nearby at the western end of Central Avenue.

The Oaks Golf Club

Wagon Trails Ranch Rides (also known as Wagon Tails Ranch Rides) is an agritourism operation managed by Andalusia Cattle Co. and located in Bunnell, Florida. The ranch offers a glimpse into Florida cattle ranching history through guided wagon tours, animal encounters, and traditional ranch meals. It’s not technically in Crescent City, but it is on Crescent Lake, which is on the other side, in Bunnell, Florida.

Hubbard House

The Hubbard House, also known as San Sui, is a historic residence located at 600 North Park Street in Crescent City, Florida, United States. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 14, 1973. This is great for history fans. However, it’s a private residence, and you can only admire it from the outside.

Crescent City Historic District

Lake Stella, Vernon Avenue, Crescent Lake, and Orange Avenue border the area. This preserved area highlights the town’s history. Situated between Lake Stella and Crescent Lake, it encompasses a small region with 212 historic buildings. Visitors can discover vintage homes, churches, and businesses. Stroll through the downtown historic district, featuring vintage homes, historic buildings, and local shops showcasing Old Florida charm.

Hallie’s Landing on Lake Stella

Hallie’s Landing is a waterfront destination on the north edge of spring-fed Lake Stella in Crescent City, Florida, located at 831 Huntington Road. As of early 2026, the property is undergoing significant management changes following its sale in late 2025. Negotiations are reportedly underway with a new chef from South Carolina to reopen the café side of the business in early 2026.

When open, Hallie’s Landing offers kayak and stand-up paddleboard rentals. An 18-hole disc golf course is located on-site and remains open year-round. Historically, Landing has offered “surface rides” in a glass-bottom semi-submarine by appointment, providing views of the spring-fed lake’s underwater life. When operational, the café offers covered outdoor seating with panoramic views of Lake Stella, known for its sunsets.

The owners are seeking new water sports business partners to utilize the 80+ feet of dock space.

Dexter Beach Park

Dexter Beach Park is a small public park and beach area in Crescent City, Florida, along Lake Stella, part of the city’s local park system. Dexter Beach Park is a lakefront beach and recreation area on Lake Stella, offering swimming and relaxation. Eva Lyon Park

Eva Lyon Park sits near Crescent City’s downtown and offers shaded lawns, walking paths, and courts for casual play. You’ll find picnic spots, a small playground, and easy street access close to local shops and the waterfront.

Camp Stella’s Luxury Lake Side Dome Tent

Camp Stella offers a lakefront geodesic dome, which is a luxury tent. The dome comfortably sleeps two adults or two children and can accommodate one additional adult. The inside is exquisite with no detail spared, and it’s spotless. Aside from a view to die for, the bed mattress is immensely comfortable, so much so that I asked the owners which mattress I should buy, as I’ll be buying the same one for my next Airbnb that I’m currently working on.
